Inserting the bug-eyed face of actor Nicolas Cage where it doesn’t belong is one of the internet’s most enduring traditions. Actually, Nicolas Cage, in general, is one of the internet’s most enduring traditions. And while his popularity as an online focal point is arguably on the downswing, it was inevitable that his memetic momentum would eventually bring him into contact with Game of Thrones, another reliable meme machine. Therefore, it is without surprise that I present this series of photoshopped images featuring the face of Nicolas Cage face overlaid onto pretty much the entire cast of Game of Thrones.

A few days ago, some hero uploaded fully 30 images in this series to Imgur. Cage’s face looked fairly natural in a few of the images…

…and not so much in others.
