HBO President: Jon Snow Is Dead

Someone doesn’t care about Harington Hair Watch 2015. At the TCA upfronts, HBO President of Programming Michael Lombardo insisted that, as far as he understands, Jon Snow is dead. TVLine has the quote:

“He be dead. Yes. From everything I’ve seen, heard and read, Jon Snow is dead.”

I appreciate that he at least made it rhyme.

But as conspiracy theorists will tell you, the question really isn’t “Is Jon Snow Dead?” Because yes, he is dead. He died in front of our eyes at the end of last season. He’s not pining, he’s passed on. Jon Snow is no more, he has ceased to be! He’s shuffled off his mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. With apologies to Monty Python, HE IS AN EX CROW. BUT.

Much like a certain cadre of witches from another series will tell you, the truth HBO and Game of Thrones are telling you may not be the truth you hear. Jon Snow is dead. The question is will be be resurrected come Season 6? Too bad Lombardo isn’t addressing THAT.
