Jon Snow is definitely dead. Everyone says so. Kit Harington, Benioff and Weiss, the president of HBO. They even told Obama that Jon Snow was dead, and you wouldn’t lie to the leader of the free world about the state of his favorite character, would you?

Except of course, we know that the Red God can resurrect the dead. And there is a conveniently located priestess who needs to atone for her misjudgements these last few seasons, and perhaps finally understand why, when she looks into the fire, she sees only Snow.

But until then, it must be said. Old Jon Snow was a funny old Crow, and now he’s a dead Ex Crow, being held in escrow, waiting for the new season to beginning when we open the box and look inside and discover the fate of this Schrödinger‘s crow.
