Hilarity Pile: Game of Scones, the Hound gets honest, and Charles Dance’s new gig

Have you ever found yourself in need of a Game of Thrones-themed snack but just couldn’t seem to find the right recipe? Well, worry no more, as author Jammy Lannister (I can’t imagine that’s his or her real name) has compiled all the Game of Thrones-inspired treats your heart could desire into one book: Game of Scones: All Men Must Dine: A Parody. Finally, you will be able to know what a Tyrion-shortbread cookie (pun intended) tastes like, along with other recipes like “Red (Velvet) Wedding Cake, Joffrey’s Jaffas, Jaime and Cersei’s Family Mess, Bran Muffins (Hodor!) and Oberyn’s Smashing Head Surprise.”

This actually isn’t the first time we’ve seen Jammy Lannister’s tasty treats, but now the author is getting published, so good for them.

Next, we’ve got everyone’s favorite potty mouth, Sandor “The Hound” Clegane gives his frank opinion on all those people who name their swords. Warning: while hilarious, this video—courtesy of YouTouber Pa Jama—does drop the C-bomb, because it’s The Hound.

The Hound is not wrong about most of the people on that list who named their swords…well, he’s not wrong about Joffrey, anyway. Finally, we’ve got a video from SyFy regarding its all-new series, Childhood’s End. The show premiers during a special three-night event starting December 14. I guess this is a smart marketing ploy as SyFy is usually known for campy garbage like Z Nation (of which I am a self-admitted hate-watcher). Watch to the end, because you’ll definitely recognize a familiar face…or voice.

I’m not sure you should refer to Charles Dance as “The dude who gets murdered on the toilet after stealing his son’s prostitute.” I mean, have you watched Game of Thrones? I guess this line from A Storm of Swords says it best: “Lord Tywin Lannister did not, in the end, shit gold.”
