Screencap breakdown: Game of Thrones Season 6 Trailer

This shot of Jaime’s arrival back in King’s Landing is very important for one reason, and one reason alone: it is the only reference to Dorne in the entire trailer (present day category).

So far as we know, this scene was the only one filmed in the original King’s Landing stand in, Dubrovnik, this season, in the same location where Myrcella was originally sent away.

The dialogue here suggests Jaime has very much bought into the “anyone who isn’t us is an enemy” philosophy his sister’s been espousing for years. By having Jaime return after Cersei’s Walk of Shame with his own close haircut, we get this wonderful visual of the two incestuous lovers looking more twin like than usual.
