GoT 610 51 oldtown

I thought about giving this the Best Vista award, but only the coast line is real. Still, the Northern Irish Tourism board wouldn’t mind if you came and hung out on those cliffs and pretended this was there. After all, after the Brexit, they’re going to need the money.

GoT 610 52 sam, gilly little sam

Question: Where did Gilly get that dress? And who did her hair? Did Sam spend money like water on their journey?

GoT 610 53 white ravens

The white ravens are heading out to announce the arrival of winter.

GoT 610 54 sam taken to the library

NO GIRLS ALOUD.

GoT 610 55 Gilly left alone

This is such a great shot of the interior of the Girona cathedral. Book your trip to Spain today!

GoT 610 56 library 1

You wanna know what heaven looks like to Sam? It looks like this.

GoT 610 57 library 2

I love how the astrolabe in this shot mirrors the one in the opening credits.

GoT 610 58 library 58 3

Hell, I think this library rivals the one in the TARDIS.

GoT 610 59 Jon melisandre and davos

While Sam is in heaven, Jon discovered he’s inherited one of Stannis’ old problems when Melisandre and Davos argue in his presence. So he fires Melisandre. She wasn’t really obeying him anyway; she was obeying “her god” or some weirdness. And it was the honorable thing to do.

You think he would have learned about “honorable” things by now, wouldn’t you?

GoT 610 60 melisandre leaves

Jon watches Melsiandre ride away south. Let’s hope she runs into Thoros and company, heading North.

GoT 610 61 jon and sansa

This shot of Sansa and Jon is so great.

GoT 610 62 jon smiles

After six seasons of scowling, Jon is finally free…to smile. After all, everyone’s been saying “Winter is Coming” for six years. Now that it’s here, it’s kind of a punchline.
