Jon Snow, Jorah Mormont, Gendry and Davos leave Dragonstone together

So after reuniting with Davos in King’s Landing, Gendry travels to Dragonstone, where there is gathered a fascinating assemblage. Once everyone is in the same place, something interesting happens: as Daenerys and Tyrion look on, Jon Snow, Jorah Mormont, Gendry and Davos pile into a boat with a few other guys and shove off. This isn’t a hostile parting. With her retinue of Dothraki soldiers, Daenerys easily could have stopped these guys if she wanted. Instead, she chats with Jorah and Jon Snow and watches them leave. (Tyrion also exchanges words with Jorah — old traveling buddies catching up.) This group is leaving Dragonstone with Dany’s blessing, and may even be on a mission for her. But what is that mission, and where are they headed?
