Richard Madden

Unfortunately, our beloved Robb Stark didn’t turn out to be the man who would be king. He was struck down at the height of his popularity in season 3, in what is now infamously called the Red Wedding. To add insult to injury, Robb’s head was chopped off his body, and the head of his dire wolf, Gray Wind, was attached to his corpse. If you have to go, at least go out in style.

Before starring in Game of Thrones, Richard Madden had already appeared in several TV series. And now that everybody knows him as Robb Stark, finding work should be easier than after. Almost immediately after Robb’s death on Game of Thrones, Disney announced Madden would be joining the live-action movie version of Cinderella.

Since then, roles have been trickling in. Madden recently appeared in the film The Take with Idris Elba and is currently starring in the TV series Medici: Masters of Florence. Hopes are high that Madden’s lead role in the Amazon Prime original movie Oasis will get his film career humming.

Eugene Simon

For many Game of Thrones fans, Eugene Simon’s Lancel Lannister was a character you didn’t know whether to love or hate. Early in the series, Simon played Lancel as a naïve kid in over his head, but he came back years later as a religious fanatic determined to bring down his family.

After Lancel met his demise in season 6, Simon started pursuing new film work. He’s completed filming on the Irish film The Lodgers with David Bradley (who plays Walder Frey on Thrones) and Moe Dunford (Vikings). He also plays an important role in an Albert Einstein biographic TV series called Genius. Simon will play the role of Albert’s schizophrenic son, Edward Einstein. Albert Einstein himself is played by Oscar-winning actor Geoffrey Rush (Shine).
