Who’s had the most successful post-Game of Thrones career?

Tom Wlaschiha
To say Tom Wlaschiha is a huge deal in his native Germany is the understatement of the year. He’s been acting professionally since 1995 and has over 60 film and television credits to his name. Buzz started to build around him when audiences saw him in the international TV series Crossing Lines. While the series continued to air around the world, it never returned to the United States.
Getting cast on Game of Thrones gave Wlaschiha another chance to star in a hit series, and he delivered. While Game of Thrones is on hiatus, he’s filming a few movies in Germany. One would think he’d have to keep his schedule pretty flexible, seeing as his character is still alive…

Iwan Rheon
I think we can all agree that Ramsey Bolton is one of the scariest bad guys Game of Thrones ever had. This was due in large part to how the writers handled the character and how passionately Iwan Rheon played him. While Rheon is no longer with the show, Ramsay having been blessedly eaten alive, we haven’t seen the last of him. Almost immediately after his time on the show ended, he was already in talks to join several projects. For example, he just completed filming on the first season of the Sky Atlantic series Rivera. (Unfortunately, the Claire Danes and Adrian Lester-led show is not available in America.) He also recently complete his first American movie: Daisy Winters, where he gets to combine his musical and dramatic talents.
Rheon’s biggest post-Game of Thrones job is his role in the ABC series Inhumans, adapted from a Marvel Comics series of the same name. He’ll play the genius supervillain Maximus. Will he bring any of Ramsay’s sadistic mania to the part? The verdict is still out, but whatever it is, it’s going to be good.
Make sure you check out Inhumans when it premeries on September 22, 2017.
