This looks like a thrilling scene. The fire in the background is notable — perhaps it’s the remnants of some kind of defensive measure that failed. Or maybe dragons. Dragons are always a possibility now.

We assume that Jon will find some way to extricate himself from this peril. Actually, he may need rescuing. Who’s available for that?

Jaime Lannister takes his last wild ride?

In one of the drop-dead most dramatic and gorgeous moments from the trailer, Jaime charges through a burning landscape holding a lance. If the Lannister army has been annihilated by the Targaryen forces by this point, this could be Jaime’s last suicidal bid to die on the battlefield rather than face imprisonment or execution.

The only thing cooler and more tear-inducing than this is if Brienne of Tarth is charging at him from the opposite side.
