When is Game of Thrones on tonight?

“Dragonstone,” the first episode of Game of Thrones season 7, premieres tonight! Here’s the official synopsis, in case you’ve missed it:

Jon (Kit Harington) organizes the defense of the North. Cersei (Lena Headey) tries to even the odds. Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) comes home.

That’s a whole lotta vague. But you can’t expect HBO to give away everything in the episode description.

Happily, there’s one thing that isn’t so nebulous: when the episode will air. No matter if you’re watching it live on TV through your HBO subscription or through a streaming service like HBO Go, HBO Now, or Hulu, the episode will be on at 9:00 p.m. EST tonight, July 16. That means it hits at 8:00 p.m. CST, 7:00 p.m. MST, and 6:00 p.m. PST, from sea to shining sea.

The story is a little different if you live outside the US. In the UK, for example, the episode will still be aired at 9:00 EST…but because the UK is quite a bit ahead of the US time-wise, it won’t be on until 2:00 a.m. on Monday, July 17 — it’ll air on Sky Atlantic and Now TV.

That’s pretty late to stay up to watch the show, but if anything is worth it, Game of Thrones is. We’ll be up to all hours of the night, too, recapping and analyzing and breaking down the episode for your consumption.

It’s been a long wait, but Game of Thrones season 7 is finally here. Valar morghulis and happy hunting.
