WiC Live: We discuss casting news and get deeper into A Game of Thrones
Every Wednesday, we nerds here at Winter is Coming take to our Facebook page to talk all things Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire. This week, we discuss news about returning characters (beware very minor SPOILERS), pour over teases about the ending of the show, and at one point ruminate about the nature of forgiveness as it relates to historical catastrophe. You never know where it’s going to go.
We also continue our journey through every chapter of the Song of Ice and Fire series in A Song of Dan and Josh. I’ve read the books multiple times. Josh Hill has never read them before. What fresh insights do we uncover?
This time, we tackle a trio of chapters from A Game of Thrones: Bran III (basically one long dream sequence), Catelyn IV (our first visit to King’s Landing) and Jon III (our first visit to Castle Black).
Personally, I’m looking forward to getting to some of the more divisive chapters from A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons. But that could take a while. These books are…rather long.
