Who’s going to die in Game of Thrones season 8? Odds on every character

For a late addition to the show, Euron Greyjoy made quite an impression in season 7, whether it was incessantly teasing a hopelessly outmatched Jaime Lannister or offing a pair of the Sand Snakes. But will he survive the series?

With Jaime’s departure and Cersei’s promises of sharing her bed and her kingdom, things are looking up for the King of the Iron Islands. Whenever Euron returns from Essos with the Golden Company, he’s likely to try and cash in those IOUs. But his number is coming up. Whether it’s the victorious forces of Jon and Dany or the army of the dead, King’s Landing looks set for a major battle during season 8. For all his many (many) faults, Euron is not a coward, and we expect him to be on the front lines of that battle, assuming Cersei hasn’t already offed him for some slight by then.

And let’s not forget that Theon appears to be heading straight for Euron as well. What would make for a better redemption song for Theon than killing his uncle in a quest to save his sister? In short, there are a lot of people gunning for Euron, and he’s unlikely to escape them all. The only question is who takes him out.
