Who’s going to die in Game of Thrones season 8? Odds on every character

Not to throw shade on the Hot Pie that was Promised, but if this guy hadn’t reemerged for his tender cameo with Arya Stark in season 7 (and a good thing he did, because we needed to remember her softer side after seeing her massacre House Frey the week before), most casual fans probably would have forgotten he existed. However, the show did bring him back, which means it could do it again. Would it give us one last look at Hot Pie just to kill him?

Probably not. There are only six episodes left, and between Cersei on the Iron Throne, Jon’s true parentage getting out, Theon rescuing Yara and the White Walkers bearing down on everyone, there probably won’t be time to check in on Hot Pie. The only way we can see him dying is if the army of the dead ransacks the Inn at the Crossroads and kills everyone there. It’s possible we’ll see something like that, but more efficient to skip over it and show the White Walkers arriving somewhere with more dramatic potential — King’s Landing, for instance.

So our bet is on Hot Pie not appearing in season 8 at all. And if he lives, he can keep everyone fed after the apocalypse is over.
