Who’s going to die in Game of Thrones season 8? Odds on every character

Here’s an easy one. If Qyburn the spooky disgraced maester survives season 8, I will buy a hat and eat it. A big hat.

Qyburn is one of those supporting characters who’s been slipping delicately under the radar for years now. Did you know that we actually met him before we met the likes of Grey Worm and Missandei? By the end of his run, he’ll have appeared in six seasons of the show, more than Stannis Baratheon…more than Ned and Catelyn Stark combined. And in that time, he’s left his mark. He saved Jaime from losing an arm, he brought the Mountain back to life, and he arranged to explode the Sept of Baelor. Qyburn’s quiet, but he’s got tricks.

That said, it is definitely his time to go. He’s hitched his wagon to Cersei’s star, and that star is destined to fall. Should the army of the dead storm King’s Landing, I can see Qyburn standing with Cersei to the last, but the last will come. Or perhaps the Mountain could hulk out and kill his own Dr. Frankenstein in a fit of rage, which would be nicely poetic. However it happens, I see Qyburn dead come the finale.
