Does the first set photo from Stranger Things 4 give anything away?

Stranger Things 4 is officially in production, folks! And thanks to the fine fans over on Reddit, we already have a set photo to analyze. Although be forewarned: there may be SPOILERS?here. It’s hard to tell.

Okay, let’s begin. So you remember the heartbreaking ending of?Stranger Things 3? Of course you do. Sheriff Hopper died underneath the Starcourt Mall trying to stop the Russians from opening a portal to the Upside Down, and were all wrecks.

However, ever since that moment, people have been wondering if Hopper was really?dead. After all,?we didn’t see a body,?and?there’s that post-credit where we learn that there’s an “American” being held prisoner in a secret Russian base. Could that be Hopper?

We can’t be sure, of course, but Redditors immediately noted Hopper’s signature truck on set in Rome, GA:

By itself, this doesn’t prove anything about Hopper’s survival or lack thereof, but it does give us something to think over. Will someone find Hopper’s truck in the last place he left it? Maybe it now goes to his deputy? Or will he be driving it in a flashback or something?

There are many possibilities. Let your suspicious mind wander.

This is just the latest in a long line of Hopper-related clues the internet has been picking up on and freaking out about. Recently, actor David Harbour?shaved off his beard, which naturally got us wondering what?that?portended for Hopper in?Stranger Things 4.

Looks like we’ll have to wait a little bit longer before we can confirm anything. Thank goodness speculating is so fun.
