How many episodes is The Falcon and the Winter Soldier?
The countdown to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has begun. The first trailer for the highly anticipated Marvel series arrived during the Super Bowl, and now fans are eagerly awaiting the series premiere on March 19.
Anthony Mackie (Falcon) and Sebastian Stan (the Winter Soldier) have been paired up to save the day in a post-Endgame world where Captain America is gone. Both men had strong connections to Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) but being close to Cap doesn?t make them friends. They?re joined by Emily VanCamp?s Sharon Carter as they find a way to work together.
How many episodes will The Falcon and the Winter Soldier last?
The first episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier drops on March 19 on Disney+, and unless something changes, new episodes will drop weekly after that. According to IMDb, the first season has six episodes; as of this writing Marvel Studios has not released any information about taking the series beyond one season.
If Disney sticks to the pattern it’s established with?The Mandalorian?and?WandaVision,?new episodes of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier?will come out at 3:00 a.m. EST. While releasing new episodes later in the day would be appreciated, Disney seems to be taking an ?if it ain?t broke don?t fix it? approach here.
Though The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is only six episodes, the new docuseries Assembled?will go behind the scenes of the show, giving fans a little extra content.
The third week of March will be a busy one for comic book fans. Zack Snyder?s Justice League releases on March 18 on HBO Max, just a day before The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Snyder?s 4-hour opus will go head to head with Marvel?s new series in the Nielsen streaming ratings for the week of March 15, and it?s anyone?s guess who will win.
