Jack Black nominates Pedro Pascal to play Wario in Mario movie sequel
The Super Mario Bros. Movie?opened this past weekend and it’s already breaking records at the box office, taking in nearly $400 million not even a week out from release. You know what that means: sequels, sequels and more sequels. And maybe a few prequels and spinoffs. Franchise gold, baby!
The Super Mario Bros. Movie?has gained attention for its celebrity cast, including Jack Black, who many fans agree runs away with the movie as the villainous Bowser. Speaking to?Gamespot, he shared some of his ideas for a potential sequel. ?It?s not a given that Bowser will return,” Black mused. “You know, I did a few?Kung Fu Panda?movies, and it was a different villain every movie. They may do the same thing.?
You know, what if there is a more powerful, more evil villain? Then I may need to be turned to help Mario and the rest to defend our universe against some other unseen force of evil. Are you thinking what I?m thinking? Wario. Pedro Pascal?is?Wario.
Bowser is definitely the best-known Mario villain from the games, but Wario is no slouch. And Pascal already has some experience playing in the?Super Mario?universe after that grimdark?Saturday Night Live?sketch.

His?Last of Us?costar Bella Ramsey is also making waves, as?Deadline?reports that she’s joined the cast of BBC prison drama?Time?for its second season.

Ramsey said. ?And it?s such an honor to be Kelsey, I?m really excited to experience the world through her for a few months.?
