Emma Stone as…Alys Rivers

Since I won’t ever be cast as Alys Rivers (cries in High Valyrian), I believe Emma Stone would make an excellent Alys instead. Emma Stone is a talented actress with a wide range of experience in film, television, and theater, and has previously played a number of strong, independent female characters. Alys Rivers, a mysterious woman who lives at Harrenhal and becomes close to Aemond, is described as beautiful and intelligent with a strong will. Stone checks all those boxes in addition to bringing?lots of acting ability and screen presence.

Alys Rivers is a complex character who is shrouded in mystery and has her own agenda. Emma Stone could take some of the gravitas she showed in movies like the period drama? The Favorite?and apply it to?House of the Dragon, together with some of the charm from her more straightforward projects.

Maybe in a different universe I actually play Alys Rivers. The multiverse?is a thing, right?

LONDON, ENGLAND – OCTOBER 17: T’Nia Miller attends the London screening of Prime Video’s “The Peripheral” at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on October 17, 2022 in London, England. (Photo by David M. Benett/Dave Benett/WireImage)

T’Nia Miller as…Marilda of Hull

Marilda of Hull is the mother of the Driftmark bastards Addam and Alyn of Hull, a strong and intelligent woman who is fiercely loyal to her family. She manages to build a small shipping empire while living on Dragonstone, and captains her own ship.

T’Nia Miller is a British actress who has stolen the scene in genre projects like? The Haunting of Bly Manor,?The Foundation?and? The Peripheral. Marilda plays a supporting role in the story, but she proves memorable even so. Miller has the charisma to translate that to the small screen.
