China Ann McClain as…Nettles
Nettles is the last dragonseed on our list, a young woman of no particular renown who becomes a dragonrider fighting for the blacks. She?is described as tough, independent and foul-mouthed. Where many would-be dragonriders fail to tame a wild dragon, she uses cleverness to bond with one named Sheepstealer, and is crafty enough to survive the whole war.
Nettles starts out as a minor character but ends up playing a pivotal role in the outcome of the war.?China Ann McClain has portrayed numerous sassy, no-nonsense characters in the past, such as Charlotte in Grown Ups 2 and Jennifer in Black Lightning, making her an ideal fit for this role.

Blood and Cheese: Richard Armitage and Mark Stobbart
Blood and Cheese are two little-known figures who change the course of history. Cheese was a former rat-catcher in the Red Keep and Blood a former serjeant in the City Watch who was expelled for his violent crimes. They are hired to commit a heinous act we’ll likely see early in the second season. We may not see much of them, but they’ll leave an impact.
Blood was a giant of a man known for his brutality, while Cheese was a small wily man who knew the secret passages of the Red Keep as well as anyone living. Their legacy continued long after the war was over, with their names becoming a byword for treachery and cruelty in Westeros.
For Cheese, Richard Armitage would be a great option. Armitage is a talented actor who has played characters like Thorin Oakenshield in The Hobbit trilogy. For Blood, he can keep the physical presence but give it darker layers, perhaps bringing in some of the sinister qualities he displayed as Francis Dolarhyde in Hannibal.
Casting Cheese is easier, since we already have reports that he’ll be played by British actor Mark Stobbart, who is best known for TV shows like?Line of Duty?and? The Silence, as well as movies like?Almost Married. We look forward to seeing what he brings to the table.
