24 fantastic tattoos based on Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon
Dragons and swords are common subjects for tattoos, so it’s to the great advantage of tattoo enthusiasts that the?Game of Thrones?universe has plenty of them. Over the years, we’ve spotlighted tattoos based on?Game of Thrones when we’ve had enough to share. Now that the prequel?House of the Dragon?is airing, we’re seeing lots of tattoos inspired by the new series.
In this post, we’ll take a tour through some of the coolest?Game of Thrones?and?House of the Dragon?tattoos out there on the internet, starting with tattoos that honor the highest and mightiest house Westeros has ever known: the Targaryens.
I like this next one especially: not just the Targaryen sigil, but a dragon’s slash through the middle of it:
This might be my favorite Targaryen sigil tattoo:
Game of Thrones?only had three dragons to speak of: Daenerys Targaryen best boys Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion. They’re still popular subjects for tattoos, but?House of the Dragon?has introduced a whole new stable of fire-breathing flying reptiles. Caraxes, the long-necked dragon ridden by Daemon Targaryen, is an especially popular:

We don’t have any tattoos of Vhagar, the oldest and biggest dragon at the time of?House of the Dragon. We do have this tattoo of her rider Aemond Targaryen, though, looking predictably dour:

Remember on Game of Thrones when the Night King raised himself a zombie dragon? That was wild:
Okay, that’s enough Targaryens. Here’s one of the Night King solo:
