The first death of the season was one of the more gory moments of the year, and a telling image that let the audience know right away that although Dany may have settled in to rule Meereen, it wasn’t going to go the way she wanted. Not only that, but the death came at the end of a scene that was something of a mind-bender to begin with: Unsullied soldiers were paying prostitutes to cuddle with them, proving you can brainwash a company of soldiers into being fearless warriors, but given a chance their emotional needs will reassert themselves. Too bad the Harpies figured that out before Dany did and used it against her.
