Quick Hits: Emmy edition

The Emmys are tonight and with that has come a host of predictions, interviews, previews and everything else. Here is a round-up of some of the best and most noteworthy links:

• Matt Zoller Seitz of Salon has an “alternate” Emmys where he gives out awards for best monologue, best action sequence and best monster. He gives Game of Thrones best death scene for the “Baelor” episode.
• The LA Times handicaps the best supporting actor race and wonders if Dinklage’s episode choice may hurt his chances at taking home the Emmy.
• Peter Dinklage leads a reader poll at the Huffington Post on who should win best supporting actor.
• The Huffington Post again, this time they analyze Thrones‘ fighting of genre bias at the Emmys.
• Kit Harington and George R. R. Martin attend pre-Emmy parties. HollywoodLife.com even got a chance to speak to Kit for a couple minutes.
• The Independent asks some British actors working in American TV their favorite past and current TV shows and compares US TV to UK TV. Aidan Gillen and Julian Glover from Thrones get in on the action.
