Game of Thrones stars prep for MCM Comic Con before filming more of Season 6
The MCM London Comic Con kicks off tomorrow, and several Game of Thrones stars will be in attendance, doing what Game of Thrones stars do at conventions: sign autographs, take pictures with fans, and possibly kick ass/take names. Eugene Michael Simon (Lancel Lannister) tweeted about the lineup:
We four will see you there. Seven Blessings… #GameOfThrones @MCMComicCon pic.twitter.com/yYVzjxBmUX

Interestingly, the Comic Con website only lists Simon, Ian McElhinney (Barristan Selmy), and Ian Beattie (Meryn Trant) as guests. Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) was apparently going to appear, but had to pull out “due to filming commitments.” Sounds promising.
SPOILER INCOMING
The last time Cunningham surfaced, he was reportedly filming material for the massive battle scene in Saintfield, Northern Ireland. Whatever he films next will assuredly be less stressful. Simon will also be returning to work on Game of Thrones Season 6 after he’s through with his Con appearance, as he revealed in this Instagram post.

Unfortunately, it’ll probably be a little harder to get photos of the filming from here on out, as the crew wraps up outdoor shoots and films material on indoor sound stages in Belfast. On the other hand, the outdoor shoot at Riverrun is still going on, and who knows what else it’ll reveal?
