Slynt, Lysa and Rorge set to return for S4
With filming of Game of Thrones‘s season four due to begin in early July, more returning cast updates are rolling in.
According to the Shepperd-Fox Theatrical Agency, Andy Beckwith will “shortly begin shooting the fourth season,” resuming the role of Rorge. Rorge was last seen at Harrenhal, in the season two episode “The Prince of Winterfell” when Arya was searching for Jaqen H’ghar.
Kate Dickie is confirmed to be filming this year by her representation, Hunwick Hughes, who also mention Daniel Portman‘s expected return as Pod Payne in the same news section. Dickie was reported to be filming last year as well for season three and it is believed that scenes involving her character Lysa Arryn were cut before airing.
And finally, sources have unofficially confirmed for WiC that Dominic Carter will be returning in season four as Janos Slynt, the former Commander of the City Watch who was forced into the Night’s Watch by Tyrion in season two.
Ours is the Fury: Great to see these actors returning! The consistency is very reassuring, Slynt and Rorge are wonderfully nasty characters, and I love the storyline with Lysa in A Storm of Swords. It’s going to be an exciting season.
