The North Remembers: February 2011
That February three years ago felt a bit like the lull before the storm, and yet it brought many memorable and important moments. Today is a good day for reminiscence and supporting the bottom.
- We enjoyed this photo of the Stark kids off the set, and this new still of Arya very much in character.
- A crucial move was announced at the beginning of the month: Ramin Djawadi was selected to step in the shoes of the GoT composer. What a fortunate pick! To think he almost refused for being too busy at that moment.
- Winter started the discussion on the top moments we were looking to see on screen.
- In terms of promotional videos, the Invitation to Westeros behind-the-scenes feature aired, as well as this extended version of the teaser.
- Thank to the tireless Rabbit, we came across some VFX concepts for a certain something with three eyes.
- We received a report from a London advance screening of the first two episodes for international markets.
- Most importantly, the grand promo campaign dubbed The Maester’s Path began with the awesome scent box! The corresponding website where we played with all those fun puzzles in the following weeks launched, and our site motto ALWAYS SUPPORT THE BOTTOM was born. This is where it all began, people!
