The mysteries of Game of Thrones explained with science
Although Game of Thrones is set in a fictional world, a new video from PBS Digital Studios has set out to explain some of its more mystical aspects with the help of science. Joe Hanson from It’s Okay To Be Smart breaks down the seasons and geology of Westeros, Valyrian Steel, dragon fire/flight, and more. While some of Thrones’ enigmas are given real-world significance, some fall a little short of reality. Enjoy the science lesson below, as well as the aptly named planet where Westeros resides for the purposes of the video, Hodor.
