Loras In New Game of Thrones Footage
As we discussed in the Small Council, the Tyrells have benefited greatly in Game of Thrones‘ transition from page to screen. Margaery has been given a life and agency that we could only speculate in the books. Her brother, Loras might have been given slightly more before the show began to air, but all the changes to his storyline have been for the better.
Now it looks like Season 5 will see him come more into his own. Video with spoilers (plus a few more pictures from shooting) below.
This video, uploaded to youtube by stevethepirate78, has been confirmed to show Loras in a street fight with the Sparrows we’ve been seeing all over King’s Landing. One could speculate this might be related to several plot points. Yesterday’s jeers at the litter? Would Loras defend Cersei? Or could it be that Margaery has been arrested from Cersei’s lies and treachery?
Meanwhile, when they’re not fighting, it looks like the Army of the Faithful are perfectly happy to break bread with other soldiers.
