Top Game of Thrones cosplay looks for Halloween

Looking to dress as your favorite Game of Thrones character for Halloween tomorrow? We’ve rounded up some of the top GoT cosplay looks to help inspire you along the way for your costume.

We’ll start with ajuchic‘s Jon Snow with Ghost, which famously became something of a meme in 2013. The thing is, it’s also a really good take on the costume.

The secret to a successful Dany is in the wig, as Sara Toffolo reminded us last month.

Whereas with Ygritte, as Game of Thralloween shows us, the success is in the furs.

René Koiter works for Blizzard entertainment, and showed up for work like this. (There’s a video at the link.) It’s still my favorite of all the Drogo cosplays I’ve seen so far.

I love this version of Brienne from the bear pit, because it’s so different. I haven’t seen anyone else do this look yet.

Santatory cosplay is professional grade stuff (you should check out all their work, they are stunning.) Their Margaery is no exception.

Like Dany (and many Cerseis) the failure of many a Melissandre lies in bad wigs. So having a good shade of red already attached to your own head before you start gives a major advantage.

Getting Jaime right can take some effort. This one aims for the having him take the White, and it works.

I love the detail that went into this Arya, especially all that stitching the the overlay.

And finally, this was my favorite from last Halloween–the best Hodor to date, complete with Bran backpack. HODOR!
