Jon Snow opens a snow removal service at Funny or Die
The dependable folks at Funny or Die have added to their already robust catalog of Game of Thrones parody videos with a bit about Jon Snow, Westeros’ most rapidly rising Night’s Watch star, operating a snow removal service. Now I know what you’re thinking: this video amounts to little more than a lazy pun on Jon Snow’s name and his predilection for running around really cold parts of the world. Okay, maybe. But it’s still good for a laugh.
I’m particularly fond of the satisfied customer who says of Jon, “Oh, he’s great. Y’know, for a bastard.”
Ward Sorrick, who plays Jon in the video, turns the Irish inflections in Kit Harington’s voice up to 11, but otherwise does a good job of aping the actor’s resting serious face and monotone delivery. Another idea: Ilyn Payne starts a lawn-mowing business. He’ll bring his own equipment.
