New Game of Thrones Footage in CNBC-E Trailer
We’re only a couple of days away from the premiere, and though there was never officially a third trailer for this season–just three short promos–CNBC-E (That’s CNBC-Europe, which airs Game of Thrones in Turkey) has posted a brand spanking new promo to their Facebook page. It’s full of footage we haven’t seen before. Better, it’s in English with subtitles instead of overdubbed, so you can clearly understand what’s being said.
Even better, we finally get a glimpse of Tywin as a dead body! Well, the top of his head anyway.

In order, the new scenes are:
- Cersei asking Jaime if he set Tyrion free. (Note that she won’t even use his name.)
- I will never get tired of Tyrion rolling out of that crate, but it gets creepy when you add Varys staring down at him.
- Our first real footage of Stannis, telling Jon Snow that the Boltons rule Winterfell.
- Oh look, a baby.
- No, Gilly can’t look. What is Melisandre burning that she can’t look at?
- New clips of Daario egging on Dany which lead to the Harpy being pulled down.
I assume Stannis is telling Jon about the Boltons in order to try and get Jon to side with him and lead some of the Night’s Watch south to attack. But as we’ve seen, Aemon already talked Jon down once before about running to get vengeance for a family he’s left behind, so I assume he doesn’t take the bait.
