18) OONA CHAPLIN

We were all saddened when Talisa Stark (nee Maegyr) was butchered along with nearly every other Stark and Stark bannerman at the Red Wedding in “The Rains of Castamere.” The gentle Talisa was a great match for Robb, and Chaplin brought heart and grit to the role.

The Spanish-born Chaplin is a growing force in movies, playing a Receptionist in Quantum of Solace (2008) and moving up to bigger parts such as Julianne in What If (2013), Rosa in the musical Dancing for Havana (2015) and Naomi in Realive (2016). She’s also done TV, including roles as Marnie Madden in The Hour (2011-2012) and Mia in Dates (2013).

If Chaplin’s name raises your eyebrow, it should: she is the granddaughter of legendary silent film star Charlie Chaplin. But that’s not all—her mother is actress Geraldine Chaplin, and her great-grandfather is playwright Eugene O’Neil.

In an interview with The Telegraph in 2015, she talked about her famous surname: “The Chaplin name certainly makes ears prick up. I don’t know if it’s got me any jobs, but it’s certainly got me into rooms, and all I can do is work as hard as I can and try to be as good as I can. I hope that if I’m really bad they will stop giving me work.”

When Chaplin signed on to star as Young Ruth in The Longest Ride (2015), she wasn’t the only famous Hollywood progeny in the cast: she performed scenes with Scott Eastwood (son of Clint) and Jack Huston (grandson of John, pictured with her above).

Chaplin’s breakthrough role was as Kitty Trevelyan, a World War I nurse in the BBC mini-series Crimson Field (2014, above).

Chaplin is currently starring as Zilpha Geary in the FX miniseries Taboo (along with several Thrones alumni) and will appear as Eva in As We Like It in 2017 (joined by former Thrones castmate Natalia Tena, who played Osha).
