Pilou Asb?k (Euron Greyjoy) suggests alternate ending to A Song of Ice and Fire
Pilou Asb?k was only on?Game of Thrones?for a few seasons, but as the scenery-chewing Ironborn maniac Euron Greyjoy, he definitely made the most of them. He’s still hamming it up months after the series ended, doing a spot for?Esquire?while in Spain to receive one of the?2019 Esquire Men Awards.
Asb?k made a video where he writes letters to two of his?Game of Thrones?costars: Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister). We can’t embed the video here, but we can transcribe his heartfelt words:
Dear Lena,
I’m in Madrid to receive another award for that delicious romantic comedy we starred in. Lovely memories. I’ve texted George R.R. Martin suggesting him to change that Golden Company shit for those golden rings. The books should end with our wedding, saying yes over two marvelous elephants, ideally. George seems not to be online. Would you mind phoning him? And what about tweeting that I was and will always be the love of your life?
I miss you. Yours, Pilou. Please do it for your salty boy, blondie.

Eh, just wait for the novelty of the golden hand to wear off. Pretty soon it’s all about having to clean it, forgetting where you put it when you get up in the morning, etc. Classic golden hand stuff.
