Color your life with the chaos of Game of Thrones

Time to add one more oddity to the seemingly unending list of Game of Thrones franchise merchandise. Bantam Books is set to publish a Game of Thrones adult coloring book in October. Yep, an adult coloring book. The genre is actually enjoying some popularity right now, as coloring is very therapeutic and adults are constantly looking for ways to relax. (A symptom of living in the modern era, what with all the traffic jams and complicated watches and whatnot.)

The book will feature 45 illustrations inspired by the series, with TIME reporting that the list of illustrators includes John Howe (renowned for his Lord of the Rings illustrations), Adam Stower, and Yvonne Gilbert, who previously illustrated George R.R. Martin’s The Ice Dragon. The book is already listed on Penguin Random House’s website, with a tentative release date of October 27th. And while coloring in the Red Wedding or the beheading of Ned Stark probably isn’t so much therapeutic as it is, y’know, soul-crushing, I’m sure many people will want to give Joffrey’s face some extra purple for his dying breaths. (The actual images chosen for this book will probably be more benign than any of us are guessing, but after all, it is a rather violent series.)
