Actor Bio: Roger Allam is an English actor, best known for his stage career. He played Inspector Javert in the original London production of Les Misérables. He has been nominated three times for the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor, winning once. He has also been nominated for, and won, the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actor. He has also appeared in many radio dramas for the BBC. In addition, he has found time to appear in many films and television shows. Most notable are his roles in the Oscar-nominated film The Queen, the cult classic V for Vendetta, the BBC drama Ashes to Ashes and the BCC comedy The Thick of It. – Flixster
