Character Overview: Catelyn and Eddard’s second son, Bran enjoys climbing and exploring Winterfell. Like his siblings, he is dutiful and tough-minded. He is named for his deceased uncle Brandon, elder brother of Eddard. He dreams of one day being a great knight. –Wikipedia

Season 1: Bran climbs to the top of the highest tower and witnesses Cersei and Jaime having sex. To protect their secret, Jaime shoves Bran off the tower, permanently paralyzing him. Afterward, he begins dreaming about a three-eyed raven; the wilding woman Osha claims to know something about this. Bran becomes the Prince of Winterfell when his brother Robb goes to war against the Lannisters for beheading their father Ned Stark, an event both Bran and Rickon foresaw.

Season 2: With Maester Luwin’s help, Bran attempts to rule over the North. Unfortunately, Winterfell is set upon by Theon Greyjoy, who successfully invades the North for his own selfish purposes. Bran, Rickon, Osha, the siblings Jojen and Meera Reed, Hodor, and Maester Luwin hide from Theon, who later hangs two farmboys and calls them Bran and Rickon in order to get the North to bow down to him. The Boltons betray Theon and sack Winterfell, while Bran and company travel north to find the three-eyed raven.

Season 3: As they travel north, Jojen, Meera, and Osha counsel Bran on his abilities as a warg and greenseer.

Season 4: Through much peril, including being taken by deserters of the Night’s Watch holed up at Crastor’s Keep, Bran and company finally reach the three-eyed raven, housed beneath a weirwood tree in the far north beyond the Wall. However, Jojen loses his life during a fight with wight skeletons.

Season 5: Bran will not be appearing in season 5 of Game of Thrones.
