Character Overview: Captain of the Guard at Winterfell, and nephew of Ser Rodrik Cassel.
Recent Events: Jory accompanies Ned Stark to King’s Landing when he takes up the role of Hand of the King. He assists Ned in his investigation of Joffrey’s true parentage, but is fatally wounded during a fight between Jaime Lannister’s men and the Stark bannermen who also came with Ned to the capitol city.
Actor Bio: Jamie Sives is a Scottish actor with a healthy number of TV credits, including an episode of Doctor Who. He appeared together with Rory McCann (Sandor Clegane) in Rockface, and with Joseph Mawle (Benjen Strak) in The Passion. He featured in several movies as well, such as Willbur Wants to Kill Himself (2002), Love and Other Disasters (2006), Valhalla Rising (2009), and the very recent Get Him to the Greek and Clash of the Titans.
Since appearing in Thrones, Sives has continued to work in television, particularly in miniseries. He appeared in 2012’s Secret State and 2013’s The Guilty. He also has an uncredited appearance in Disney’s Maleficent. –IMDb
