Character Overview: Osha is a wildling warrior woman (a “spearwife”). Tough and uncomplaining, she is a worshiper of the old gods of the forest, and has knowledge of them as well as the lands beyond the Wall and their inhabitants. –AWOIAF
Recent Events: Osha is part of a trio of wildlings who abandon their service to Mance Rayder and head south of the Wall. They are discovered by Bran, Robb, and Theon, who are out hunting; her companions are killed but Osha is taken hostage instead. Osha serves at Winterfell and seems to understand Bran’s green dreams, though she is not an easy conversationalist. She reads the red comet as a sign of the coming of dragons (prescient, given the recent birth of Daenery’s own trio of dragons). When Winterfell is taken and then sacked, Osha helps Bran, Rickon, Hodor, Jojen and Meera Reed, and Maester Luwin survive, before assisting them on their journey beyond the Wall. After a harrowing escape from wildling scouts near the Wall, Bran orders Osha to take Rickon to Greatjon Umber’s holdfast to keep him safe.
Actor Bio: Tena made her professional debut as Ellie in About a Boy (2002), and began acting full time in 2003. She has played lead roles in stage adaptations of Gone to Earth in 2004, and Nights at the Circus in 2006, and has appeared in smaller roles in film and TV productions, including Mrs Henderson Presents (2005). Tena is best known for portraying the character Nymphadora Tonks in the Harry Potter film adaptations from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix onward (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and both parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows). In 2014 she appeared in the films 50 Kisses, 10.000 Km, and SuperBob, as well as the upcoming Residue and short film Maddy Burns in Hell.
