Actor Bio: Michael McElhatton is an Irish actor of stage and screen, as well as a writer. His most prominent role to date was as Raymond ‘Rats’ Doyle in the RTÉ Two comedy Paths to Freedom, which he both wrote and starred in. He won the Irish Film and Television Award for Best Actor for this role. He went on to write and star in a movie sequel to the series entitled Spin The Bottle. He has appeared in other films such as Fifty Dead Men Walking and Perrier’s Bounty. He also appeared in numerous West End productions, including The Seafarer at the famed National Theatre in London.
