Pictures from Game of Thrones Season 5 Beverly Hills Presser

Last week, post US Season 5 premiere in San Francisco, several members of the cast–Lannister and Stark mostly–sat down for a group press conference at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills on the upcoming season. The interview quotes that will be used over the next two weeks as the publicity wave crests. Kit Harington’s have already come out on Australia’s News.com.au, and most amusingly, his big issue is how hard is is out there for a hunk.

“To always be put on a pedestal as a hunk is slightly demeaning,” laments Kit Harington, 28, who stars as Jon Snow on the award-winning hit TV series, Game of Thrones. “It really is and it’s in the same way as it is for women. When an actor is seen only for her physical beauty it can be quite offensive,” says the London-born actor.

Harington does believe he and Jon share some traits, other than the hair. “Well, I have an inner warrior,” he smiles. “And I’m proud of my inner warrior. He fights for me every day. That’s one of the things I like about myself. I can be quite brave in situations and foolhardy at the same time. Like Jon, just like Jon.”

When asked about said hair by the reporter, Harington reportedly bristled, and then admitted part of it was that he has begun to fear going bald.

Alfie Allen was also there, though we don’t have the details of his interview. He did, however, recently say that only men bring up the fact that his character has been castrated.

Lena Headey has learned lots of tricks to keep from looking pregnant in photographs. Here she demonstrates the “bump under the table” method.

And here she uses the “flowing outfit accessories” method. Considering she spent most of Season 1 filming hiding her first go round, it not surprising she’s a pro.

Maisie Continues working her Best Dressed angle. At every turn she’s told interviewers how excited she is to be finally allowed to wear a dress and a cute haircut on the show.

And though she clearly enjoys showing off the entire outfit, her tweet from the panel makes fun of the face the photographer caught her making.

Sigh…. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau ….. Oh sorry, what? Something about a duck?

Only this guy could make the standard issue black polo and black slacks–the uniform of of Silicon Valley–look this good.

And though Sophie Turner is mostly making the rounds for coming up with some steamy Game of Thrones fanfiction for “The Real Housewives of Westeros,” her dress is also seriously steamy.

Though it manages to keep everything covered, the way the flaps peel back for the enormous keyhole and at the hem suggest something much less safe for work, and much more in keeping Littlefinger’s interest. Also, I love that earring.
