Emilia Clarke Devastated By Season 5 Finale

Take hope Jon Snow truthers. Emilia Clarke counts herself among your ranks. She can’t believe he’s gone, and she’s praying he’s coming back.

Speaking to MTV News—ostensibly about Terminator: Genisys, but let’s face it, all anyone wants to talk about is the ending to Game of Thrones Season 5—Clarke admits that she was completely devastated when she read the script for “Mother’s Mercy.”

“I read the script and I cried…I called David and Dan, and I took Kit out for numerous drinks, and was like, ’what the… what the… you’re leaving me?’”

And she’s insists she had no idea if Jon Snow will live come next season or not, because she hasn’t seen the scripts, and showrunners Benioff and Weiss aren’t giving anything away yet. “They know that I can’t lie very well,” she said. “I can, with all honesty, say I have no idea what’s happening.”

You have to admit, if she’s lying here, then she must be a pretty good actress…oh, wait.

Meanwhile the actress has been seen the last few days hobbling about on crutches. (While still in fashionable heels, I might add.) She claims it’s because of a stress fracture in her hip, but she promises to come up with a better story by the end of the press tour. Like maybe that Benioff and Weiss sent a couple of goons to make she she would keep quiet about Season 6?
